Aquatic Wheelchair – 120kg to 200kg
This unique designed Aquatic Wheelchair is for use around wet areas, in the swimming pool or shower areas. This lightweight yet robust wheelchair is safe with a working load is up to 200 kgs (SWL 120 kg) (Bariatric Chair SWL 200 kg). This wheelchair complies with Australian Standard AS3973 and Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010.
This PVC tubing made chair doesn’t get hot or have sharp edges. Strong open weave fabric allows the flow of air or water easily.
A safe transfer is ensured with the fitting of this chair with swing-up armrests.
Large push rims are fitted for independent use. Also, have the option to use the rear handles.
This unit is perfect for use at leisure centres and hydrotherapy pools. Especially useful in the ramp or beach area built into the pool where physically disabled persons have to walk long distances.
